The bench is beautiful and sturdy. We will be adding a plaque for a memorial on the base of the tree. We looked at many benches before purchasing this one and it truly is a piece of artwork. We liked it so much we ordered two more to place in my late husbands favorite places.

I ordered this bench for friends of mine who lost their son at the young age of 31. he is buried on Mackinac Island along with 5 other members of their family. When I went to visit there wasn't anywhere to sit and chat with Robert at the grave site. I mentioned that they needed a bench and I wanted to buy it. I found this bench online and loved it. It was delivered damaged due to delivery and the company replaced the backing at no expense immediately. I was amazed by their generosity and expediting the replacement piece and the family loves the bench. Our Group ordered both a Tree of Life bench and a Cardinal bench and they arrived as promised. We had to assemble which was fairly simple—it took two of us ( older man and women ) about 20-30 minutes at a leisurely pace to complete assembly.
Benches very comfortable and look great and are heavy enough that one person could not walk away with them.
As an outreach gesture to the church we hold our weekly minutes at we are dedicating these benches in honor of one of our members who passed away suddenly . We are starting a memorial garden area where these benches , along with a smaller Serenity Prayer Stone Bench and some Engraved Stepping Stones ( In Memory of and In Honor of ) will also be placed.
This is a shaded area with concrete walk ways and large pine straw areas between the several walkways. The two wrought iron benches purchased from Painted Sky are very eye catching.
